Maria M. Marinakis, M.Ed. - Associate Consultant

Maria Marinakis is a seasoned mental health and forensic professional with over two decades of experience supporting victims of crime and working alongside multidisciplinary teams, including law enforcement, attorneys, judges, and medical experts. With a background in counseling psychology and a career spanning child welfare, forensic assessment, and trauma-informed practice, Maria brings a unique, comprehensive lens to jury consulting.

Her work has involved in-depth case analysis, behavioral profiling, and courtroom collaboration—skills that directly inform her ability to evaluate juror biases, forecast group dynamics, and craft persuasive trial strategies. As an active member of FBI-led and multidisciplinary Sexual Assault Intervention Teams, Maria contributed to investigations and victim-centered protocols that prioritized integrity, clarity, and trauma-informed accuracy—an approach she now brings to jury selection and trial preparation.

Maria’s forensic strengths are rooted in years of conducting psychological and developmental assessments, preparing expert recommendations for court proceedings, and training professionals in child abuse investigation, cross-cultural issues, and neuro-linguistic communication techniques. Her ability to translate complex psychological concepts into actionable strategies makes her a valuable asset in voir dire analysis, witness preparation, and narrative framing for attorneys.
